My friend bought me this one after I finished "Heavensward" earlier this year. I loved Haurchefant, and the title of this candle made me want to cry all over again. The scent is absolutely divine: warm chocolate and caramel, sweet and homey, with the faintest touch of metal, all combined to give a feeling of comfort and strength on my bad days. I absolutely adore this candle and have been using it sparingly the last several months; I plan to get another when it's gone.
Smells like actual hot chocolate, as if someone is making some homemade on a stovetop.
Somehow. This scent is very forward with the chocolate caramel, reminiscent of a tootsie pop. It's a strong, warm scent that invites you to a place of safety in even the coldest of winters, the darkest of nights. It begs you to keep safe, volunteers to be a light when all else fails, with the sweet scent of a warm drink and warmer smile waiting for you by the hearth.
Buy if: You like sweet scents and the lingering hint of emotional pain, you Really Liked Heavensward.
Don't buy if: you hate tootsie rolls, Haurchefant, Heavensward, and/or you like Zephirin. I mean you still could but it'd be a little weird, yeah?
